I am a PhD student funded by a DAAD grant at the INRES Horticultural Science department of the University of Bonn. During my academic training as biochemist I have investigated epigenetic changes such as DNA methylation and small RNAs related to dormancy. The aim of my project is provide information of relative abundance of epigenetic modifications in models appropriate for predicting phenological states of dormancy of temperate fruit trees.
